Summer Camp at Broadway is happening this summer! Summer 2021 is going to be a blast, and we would love for you to join us for our Summer Camp program this August 9-13, 2021. If your kids love to play games, to connect with friends, and need some encouragement this summer, then this is the place for you!
We are currently planning to host our Summer Camp program at Broadway Church in person at 556 Broadway in Orangeville. Camp will run from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily, and will include games, crafts, activities, teamwork, snacks, and more! Camp is open to students born between 2008-2014.
The cost of Summer Camp is $70 per student, which will include everything required for camp including a team t-shirt, all craft and activity supplies, and daily snacks. A $20 deposit is required to secure your spot, please remit payment by e-transfer, PayPal, or in-person (please see current office hours). If for any reason we need to shift to an on-line version of camp, the $20 deposit will cover the cost of an at home activity kit with supplies necessary for virtual camp.
What should I bring to camp each day? Please send your student(s) with a lunch (nut free), water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, running shoes, and facemasks. Be sure to label items with your student’s name.
We will be following all current guidelines set forth by Public Health regarding Covid and will be following the updates closely. Students will be asked to wear face masks and will be encouraged to distance and wash hands frequently. Students will also be placed in smaller groups for the week with dedicated leaders. We ask that all families do a Covid symptom self-check before coming to camp each day, and we ask that no one attend who is exhibiting symptoms, who have come in contact with anyone who has Covid, or who has travelled outside of the province in the last 14 days. The health and safety of our campers, volunteers and staff is very important to us.
We are also looking for Camp Counsellors for the summer. Counsellors will be given leadership training opportunities and will be able to develop skills in a variety of ways. If you were born between 2007-2003 click the link below to sign up.
